LOVE

“If I could speak in any language in heaven or on earth but didn’t love others, I would only be making meaningless noise like a loud gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I knew all the mysteries of the future and knew everything about everything, but didn’t love others, what good would I be?  And if I had the gift of faith so that I could speak to a mountain and make it move, without love I would be no good to anybody.  If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it, but if I didn’t love others, I would be of no value whatsoever.”

” Love is patient and kind.  Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.  Love does not demand its own way.  Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged.  It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.  LOVE will last forever……”

“You won’t know that Jesus is ALL you need until He is ALL you have.”

 – Pastor R. Painter

Matthew 24:35  –  “Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will remain forever.”    This is what Jesus told His disciples as He was talking about the future.  To me, this is so powerful because basically Jesus is saying that everything that we see with our natural eyes, will one day be discontinued, disappear  BUT, Jesus – the Word of God, is forever.  Jesus promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us.

He’s with us when there seems to be nothing left AND when there is literally nothing left.  Sometimes our situations that we find ourselves in and facing are dire and devastating.  But I can say from first hand experience that even in those places, Jesus is there with you and WANTS to be with you.

Let’s trust in Him- our eternity and NOT in this temporal world that’s fading so fast before us.  In Him do we move and breath.  He created each of us as uniquely as we are.  Beloved I will continue to trust and believe in my Savior, Jesus my Lord.

And for you, I pray that you will come to know Him as your Lord.

What Can Separate Us?

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love.  Death can’t, and life can’t.  The angels can’t, and the demons can’t.  Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can’t keep God’s love away.  Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

– The Apostle Paul in Romans 8:38-39 NLT

This passage of scripture is a powerful scripture.  In my opinion, it epitomizes the Grace of God.  NOTHING – can separate us from the love that God has for us!  John 3:16 says that “For God so loved the world (not just the church), that He gave His only son…..”  And in the giving of His son, what did His son in turn do?  He was given life for us, gave up His life for us and laid down His life for us!

If you’re reading this, then that means that Jesus loved you, us –  even before we were ever conceived, thought about, before implantation into the womb.  We didn’t do anything to deserve His love and He didn’t do anything to deserve our sins that He took upon His body on the cross.  Therefore, nothing that we can do, think about, have done, will do — will ever separate us from God’s love!  We are His children, His creation and He loves us unconditionally.  Beloved let Jesus into your heart completely.  Let Him be the Lord over your life and fully enjoy the benefits of Life and being Loved by our beautiful and wonderful God.

Beloved I will continue to trust in and believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I will continue to relish in His love for me and continue to be me!

and you…………

Look Unto Jesus

….Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…. Hebrews 12:2

Beloved, the best of us can fail and miss the mark.  As a matter of fact, we all make mistakes and fall short of the Glory of God.  We are made right and justified ONLY by the blood of Jesus.  He alone is perfect. (Romans 3:23-24)  The only one who is faultless, flawless and altogether lovely is Jesus and because He never misses the mark, we can look unto Him.

Looking unto someone is different than looking to someone or looking at someone.  Looking unto someone is you turning to that person and expecting something from him/her.  Say for instance, if you were riding a bike and you fall down into a steep ditch and you’ve hurt your leg.  If you see someone going pass, you’re turning to look unto that person to help you get out of that ditch.  They may or may not help you.  But the difference with looking at vs. looking unto – is that you’re not going to sit in that ditch looking at that person to see what they have on or what type of bike they’re riding, you’re going to look unto that person seeking help.  I use this example of someone riding a bike because my children like to ride bikes.  Unfortunately, two of them are not very good bike riders! LOL   Once while on a family outing at a park, one of my children rode his bike too fast going down a hill and ended up colliding with another family member!  As the rest of us were making our way down the hill to help them, my child and the other family member were looking unto us for help!  We made sure that they were alright and assisted them the remainder of the way down the hill.  🙂

This is how Jesus wants us to look unto Him!  Always looking unto Him for the answers.  The answers to our questions, mistakes, failures, doubts, fears, problems.  Look unto Jesus for Him to rescue you out of whatever situation you are in and He will never fail you.  We can look unto Jesus to heal us, save us and protect us!  He will do just what we’re expecting Him to do because of His mighty power and unconditional love for us.  He promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us!

So beloved, if you have any problems in your life…..and I’m sure we all have something that we struggle with.  It could be that you deal with bad headaches, knee pain, constant back pain.  Look unto Jesus, in the Word of God, and find the scriptures to stand on for your circumstances and problems.  Isaiah 53:5 says that….by Your stripes I am healed…., look unto Jesus by taking that scripture and others, speaking them in faith and thanking Jesus for your healing.

Beloved, we have been looking unto ourselves, our friends, our co-workers, our spouses and our siblings too long.  We are thankful for those whom God has placed in our lives, but not all the time are they able to rescue or heal us.  We must look unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith.  The more we look unto Him, the more we will see His healing and everything else we’re believing God for, manifest in our lives.

I will continue to be me and believe, trust and depend in and on Jesus.  I pray that you my love will learn to do the same.  I will be me and you……

TAKEN

Thursday, February 25, 2016 one of my favorite cousins was taken by death. Death stole her away from her family too soon. Devastation, disgust and downright anger is what I’m feeling right now. I hate death and every form it takes. It’s a hateful, non-feeling, putriefied foul smelling thing. I detest it. It steals healthy lives and spread lies. Lies that say God needed her…..God needed another flower, another angel. REALLY??  No!  My loving God sent His Son to give us LIFE and LIFE more abundantly!   This is what the Bible says. The Bible also says that the devil – death, comes to steal, kill and destroy. I abhor the devil and death. How can we truly comfort and console our hurting loved ones by telling them that God took her but He knows best. No!  I will not allow myself to be in agreement with that lie of the devil and his counterpart, death. God told us – His believers – that Life and death are in the power of our tongues. I believe that!  We have to start coming together as a family, as believers, as one in heart, spirit and mind AND start speaking more of the Word of God. This is the only thing to eradicate doubts and lies of the devil. There is power in unity – praying together,  believing the same things together, speaking the Word of God together. We belong to a new covenant that was begun and given by Jesus. GRACE came by one Man – Jesus. The law was given by Moses. Jesus loves us so much that He came – the GRACE of God came to save us!

My heart is so heavy right now. So many emotions going on inside.  I’m still asking questions. My trust and faith still lies with my Lord Jesus. Even in the midst of this. I know that this was NOT His will. His will is that we live and Not die to declare the Glory of God. The devil stole this life and so many others. Let’s look to and believe the Goodness of God. God is a loving God and Father. You as parents wouldn’t look at your flower gardens and say….”I need another flower, let me take the life of my child and plant him/her in my garden”  That’s absurd!  God owns and has everything!   He delights in us, His children,  having Life and Life in abundance!

The amazing Grace (Jesus) of God is sweet. Taste and see that the Lord is good!  I dedicate this site to all of my beautiful cousins and the one cousin who encouraged me to do my passion — write. She’s in heaven now and at peace, this I  know. I pray that she will forever live on through the writings and books that will come as a result from this blog site . I love you cousin and miss you much right now.

I will lean on and trust Jesus to help me and  everyone  going through a difficult time right now as a result of losing a precious loved one.  I will continue to believe what I believe and be me.

And you –

#toast

According to my youngest child, I’m the best mom in the whole world!  Why?  For making him two slices of toast and for setting up a play date to swim with his best buddy!  Wow – I can’t ask for anything more than that. Lol.

The simple things in life are the best things.

#toast #bestmomintheworld

God loves us even beyond the love of and for our children!  He thinks we’re the best thing since sliced bread!  How do I know this?  John 3:16-17 tells us – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him, will not perish but have eternal Life.”  God didn’t send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it!

I will continue to live, believe and be me…….and you –

I Am Inspired

I looked online a couple of days ago and checked out a few bloggers, vloggers, articles and quite a few “twitterers”.  Okay, so call me computer illiterate or old school but I just found out what a vlogger is. Pretty cool actually.

Why am I inspired…..and what am I inspired to do??  Write…..yes, I wrote that out loud!  I love words!  What is said, what is written, thoughts.  And so I asked myself, why not write?  Its something that I’ve always done. The love for putting words on paper has been re-birthed in me.

At first I was concerned that no one would read what I have to say….but one of my favorite cousins said “It’s the internet, the world…your audience is out there somewhere.”  So world…here goes/comes something!  LOL.   I refuse to imitate, so

I will be me…..and you –
